San Luis Obispo features a wide variety of entertainment acts from around the globe thanks to fantastic venues that attract artists to the beauty of the Central Coast, or simply because they serve as excellent stopping points between the major cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Vina Robles Amphitheatre

Opened in 2013, the Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles is a grand outdoor concert and event venue that accommodates 3,300 people amidst its stadium seating and grassy lawns. Famous musicians fill this venue from April-November.

Performing Arts Center of SLO

A centerpiece to Cal Poly State University’s campus, the architecturally-inspiring Performing Arts Center (PAC) features multiple venues for accommodating a variety of artists, performers, and speakers in music, dance, theatre, and more. Throughout the year, the calendar fills with exciting events from a wide range of disciplines. The PAC is also home to the SLO Symphony, who perform monthly concerts.

Mid State Fairgrounds

The California Mid-State Fair, which runs for two weeks at the end of July each year, attracts some of the most popular music acts in the US to its 14,600 person capacity Chumash Grandstand Arena. Drawing huge crowds from across California and beyond, it’s a prime venue for seeing prime acts amidst while enjoying the fun of the fair itself.
